  1. Pass the farmer’s cheese through a meat grinder (or press through a fine sieve) to make it smooth.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of melted butter, the egg beaten with the sugar, the semolina, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and the vanilla.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly with a wooden spatula, adding the cleaned and washed raisins.
  4. Grease a skillet or shallow baking dish with butter and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs. Spread the cheese mixture into the dish.
  5. Smooth out the surface, brush with the sour cream, and drizzle with the remaining butter.
  6. Bake in a hot oven for 25–30 minutes.
  7. Serve the casserole hot with syrup or sour cream.
